  3. Thanks, Alyssa! My pick changes not going through worked out OK for me after all!

Chall, thank you, too! I'm sorry your team didn't make it. I have to admit I haven't been following it at all - this was the semi-final, right? Or whatever it's called, the one before the superbowl? (I saw something on the local news ticker about the superbowl teams being set, but that is the sum total of my knowledge).

  4. Chall - yes, that was a heartbreaking loss for the Vikings. I was really hoping for the Superbowl to be Farve vs. Manning, but no such luck.

  5. (and of course I mean Favre not Farve :P)

  6. cath: it was the most excrutiating pain ever to watch that game. Half the time they just fumbled the ball (lost it and threw it on the ground) and other half they were brilliant. Unfortenetly, the opponents didn't play too good but clearly that doesn't matter if you loose the ball yourself.

THat's partly why I was so crushed. If they would have been steam rolled by the other team and lost, it wold've hurt but this was worse. they made all the mistakes and the other team didn't do much with it and they still lost....

Alyssa: I was hoping for a win until that -17 seconds pass.... intereference. It was a moronic move. He should've just STOPPED and let them try for a FG. But sure, it's easy to say looking at it.He was limping and in fairly big pain I would assume.

  7. Chall - yeah, it was painful to watch! Both how the Vikings kept screwing up (holy turnovers, Batman!) and how often Favre got hit :S And then how they totally could have won in the dying seconds...argh. So sad.

  8. Yeah, losing as opposed to being fairly beaten is not good...
