The BBC strikes again

Here's an excerpt from one of yesterday's football match reports:
Stand-in skipper Cristiano Ronaldo was in brilliant form, shooting home from a corner before striking a sensational free-kick that moved through the air.
Erm, OK. I admit that a free-kick that didn't move through the air would be somewhat less than sensational, but I wonder if they chose the most appropriate words to describe this wonder goal. I tried to find the goal on Youtube, but it's already been taken down due to copyright issues. I'm guessing that what they meant to say is that the kick had a wicked swerve on it.

Ah, a very talented (ex) Man Utd player who I actually like. Unlike Ronaldo, the smug git.

Anyway.

I'm meeting Propter Doc for beers later today. How cool is that?!
