I did it!

I got sunburned, soaked to the skin, and (probably) shot at, but I did it! And I wasn't last to finish! Not even close to last!

I have early meetings and late work dinners this week, but I'll try to get a full post (with photos and videos) up by the weekend. I just wanted to check in and say THANK YOU to everyone who supported me!

And now I think I will take the bus to work...

  1. Congratulations. I always find that shooting at people makes them pedal harder. As long as you miss, of course.

  2. woho!! Congrats! I am proud to know you!! Well done indeed.

Looking forward to some photos and stories. Good luck with the bus.

can you bend the legs and sit down even? (I'm thinking it is similar to the days after 'telemarking' with skiis?? when the back of your thighs are refusing to work at all... maybe this is more a calves and front thighs?)

Shot at? OK, I've been away from the blogosphere for awhile, but that certainly got my attention. I am eager to hear more.

  10. Thanks all!

I'm not purposely keeping you all in suspense re: the shooting story, I really am this crazy busy! Soon, I promise!

I'm more or less fine now - I actually felt worse yesterday than on Monday, because my back started spasming and generally hurting, but then it went "click click CLICK" and now it feels much better. I might even bike to work tomorrow! I would have today if I hadn't had my laptop with me at home.
