  4. Glad you liked it!

I had the cats in the garden with me for long chunks of time this weekend, and they're always totally zonked after any time outside - too much stimulus! Google assumed the last position about 2 hours before we went to bed, and Mr E Man says she was in the exact same position when he got up at 5 am the next day! Given that cats usually don't sleep all that deeply, I was quite impressed.

  5. I'm impressed at cats that can concentrate for long enough to write 2 paragraphs.

I love the position in the second photo. That is one moggie at peace with the world.

  6. Ahhhh the life of a cat. I won't know that kind of joy until I'm in a nursing home. ;)

  8. Bb, yeah, she's very zen.

MXX, too right! And more's the pity!

    SG, I hope so!

Dr A, superkyoot! The little paw pads just kill me.

I forgot to point out the go-faster stripes they have on their back legs. (Actually Saba's is only on one side, because she's a bit asymmetrical in general - from the right she looks like a darker version of Google, from the left she's mostly white).

  9. ROFL! This is why I stick with dogs. Cats are so condescending ! I want unending, slavish, devotion, not judginess! But your cats are deceptively snugly looking.

  10. Well, there's cats and there's cats... our two are dumb and goofy, especially Saba. Seriously, a beast that falls off the sofa on a regular basis does not get to be condescending!

  11. Glad you think so - a lot of my friends don't like it! But she has these white rings around her eyes that look like goggles, and when we first adopted them, she spent the first 2 days repeatedly searching the house from top to bottom. So it seemed like a good fit!
