Caught by the fuzz

Is it just me, or are animal paw pads just the cutest thing ever?

From big scary beasts*

to my own two kitties, those pads are just adorable!

Saba has the fuzziest paws I've ever seen on a cat.

I think she must be part polar bear.

Our house is all laminate floors; no wonder her back end sometimes skids out on fast corners.

My family's beagle would do the exact same thing running on linoleum floors when I was growing up. She resembled a car taking a turn too fast on a snow or ice-covered street. It never seemed to bother her, though - she would just keep running!

  2. Oh I know! Bear paws are just the best thing ever :)
That picture could have been my tatoo design, hahaha! I should show this post to people who think I have a cat paw tattooed on my arm ... grrr... There is a huge difference

The Beast has the same problem. Which leads to much amusement when we play "chase the dry snacks".

  4. Heh! Who knew there were so many skidding pets in the world? My parents' house is all carpets, so I'd never observed the phenomenon before getting our cats.

Nina, you need to carry a copy of that photo with you! They are totally different!

  6. Thanks! Today, I am wearing all the items of clothing one might normally expect, and I've even put product in my hair. So I must be almost better.
