The people have spoken!

Poll results

The next quiz will be posted at 7am PST on Friday, November 5th. Comments will be closed for the first 24 hours (well, probably more like 26 or 27, because I'm not getting up early on a Saturday just for this!) You will be able to submit answers for as many questions as you wish during that time, in either one comment or multiple comments. After the 26(ish) hours are up I'll open the comments, and you must can all trash-talk each other.

AND NO MOANING!!!

In other news, it's official: the most Canadian thing I've ever done is play drunken hockey outside on New Years Eve.

So now you know.

  1. ah well.... I guess I'll see if I can get even one answer without the nagging banter of feeling insane ;)

  2. Bob, there will be no moaning, whinging, whining, complaining, bitching, kvetching, bellyaching, wailing, fretting, crying, fussing, griping, grousing, grumbling, lamenting, protesting, snivelling, or whimpering.

    Did I miss anything?

Chall, you mean the peace and quiet might help you think? :)

  7. ScientistMother, sorry, but that's what happens in a democracy! Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Maybe you should have mounted a campaign to try and sway the vote!

p.s. boo hoo is covered under the no crying part of the ban :)

    Chall, I meant comments-wise :)

Nina, the person who answers the most questions correctly wins. I'm expecting that some won't be answered during the comments moderation period, but people can keep guessing once the comments are open.

  8. Booing is not covered by crying. Booing is completely different and is used to express displeasure ie not appreciating the ref giving us a penalty with only 2 min left in the Gold medal game. We Boo.

    so BOOOO!!

  9. OK, I feel forced to grump.

    Grump, grump, grumpity grump.

P.S. I'm off to Aberdeen for a couple of days, to be threatened by the "local specialities". So I'll be too busy enjoying Bonfire Night on Friday to take part.

  11. Whoo hoo! and I read this before it was all over :)

I imagine that all the questions will handily be either unanswerable or a hippopotamus :)

  12. No grumping.

I found this quiz to be the hardest one to date, so there should be one or two leftovers for you to enjoy along with your leftover haggis.

Antipodean, sledging = trash talking, right? Not moaning? If so, you're in the clear.

    Love the kitten image!

Knutty, well, you can answer hippopotamus if you like, but I doubt it'll do you much good!
