The bad news: one third of the world's primate species are critically endangered.The good news: a new population of De Brazza's monkey (pictured) has been found in an unexpected area of Kenya, a country in which the species is rare.
The mixed news: the monkeys have colonised new habitats due to rapid climate change. Good news for this one species, but the wider effects are almost guaranteed to negatively impact other species and ecosystems.
